Parks and Recreation

Frederick County is fortunate to have an outstanding Parks and Recreation Division that offers residents access to beautiful, well-maintained parks and a wide variety of programs. We are especially proud of some of our newest gems, including Othello Regional Park, Urbana District Park, and Utica Park.

Having served on the Parks and Recreation Committee in the past, I developed a strong understanding of our park system and the valuable programs it provides. These parks and programs are more than just green spaces they are vital community assets that enrich the quality of life for all ages.

Frederick County Parks and Recreation Division offers excellent programs for children and seniors, providing safe, engaging opportunities that promote health, social connection, and lifelong learning.

I remain committed to supporting and expanding these opportunities so that Frederick County continues to be a place where families and individuals of all ages can enjoy nature, stay active, and connect with one another.
